Electrically conductive resins and adhesives (epoxy and polyester) due to the presence of carbon-based nanomaterials.

The resins achieve different ranges of conductivity depending on requirements: from conductivity ideal for spraying or electrostatic painting to resistivity up to 101-102 Ohm·cm required for electromagnetic screening.

Conductive resins and adhesives can be used in fuel lines or sensitive electronics where sparks must be prevented, and in external components on cars or wind turbines that are painted using electrostatic paint.

Electrical conductivity can be conferred to materials with smart auto-response properties, using the Joule Effect, for example self-curing, self-heating (to prevent ice formation), self-protection (antistatic systems), self-repair, sensorisation (piezoelectricity), etc., properties which are used in a variety of sectors including the car industry, aerospace, building, infrastructures, energy supply, technology (design of wearables), etc.
